Total Success! Deputamadre Club Brought the Explosive Desorden Público Eurotour for their 40th Anniversary
Relive the successful Desorden Público Eurotour 2025 with Deputamadre Club. Dates, sold out in Amsterdam, and the celebration of Latin ska in Europe.
The legendary Venezuelan band Desorden Público concluded their Eurotour 2025 with resounding success, a commemorative tour that we celebrated at Deputamadre Club. This tour, which marked the band’s 40-year career under the slogan “Los 40 de Desorden” (Desorden’s 40), not only reviewed their unmistakable legacy of Latin ska but also reaffirmed the powerful connection they have with the Latin American public in the diaspora. The concerts, organized by Deputamadre Club in May, became authentic spaces for catharsis, celebration, and the most energetic reunion of Latin ska in Europe.
Beyond the Dance: 40 Years of Social Chronicle with a Fusion of Ska, Punk, and Reggae
The Eurotour 2025, hand in hand with Deputamadre Club, was not just a festival of rhythms, but a journey through the rich history of Desorden Público since its foundation in Caracas in 1985. The vision of Horacio Blanco and José Luis Chacín always went beyond simple Latin ska; their proposal was a bold fusion of ska, punk, Caribbean rhythms, and reggae, adding a sharp and necessary dose of social criticism.
The band has transcended generations by remaining consistent with their discourse. Desorden Público has established itself as a collective voice that documents the tensions, joys, and contradictions of Venezuela and the region. In every concert in Europe, this political and documentary facet was evident.
To kick off the four-decade celebration, the setlist included the powerful “A mí me gusta el Desorden”. A stellar moment of the tour was the performance of “¿Dónde está el Futuro?” (Where is the Future?), where the band paid tribute to the British band Madness, who have been one of their great influences.
A Historic Sold Out in Amsterdam: The Success of the Desorden Público Eurotour
The Deputamadre Club team is proud of the incredible reception the band received, demonstrating the solid fan base on the continent. The Latin American community turned out in droves at the different stops. A highlight of the tour was the concert in Amsterdam on May 26th at Melkweg, where the band achieved a spectacular sold out, selling all tickets.
Deputamadre Club took Desorden Público to iconic venues, achieving great attendance in other key cities, demonstrating the impact of Latin ska in Europe:
- Paris: May 25th - Pan Piper
- Amsterdam: May 26th - Melkweg (Sold Out!)
- Berlin: May 27th - Columbia Theater
- Munich: May 29th - Backstage Werk
As we could see live, the 40-year tour is a “life project” for the band, and the effusive response of the European public was the best confirmation of this legacy.
Desorden Público: A 40-Year Bond that Deputamadre Club Strengthens in Europe
The band’s impact goes beyond rhythm. The Eurotour 2025 we produced was a generational encounter where music served as “urban chronicle and vehicle for social resistance” (as described by the band). For attendees, every show organized by Deputamadre Club was a space to celebrate Latin American identity in exile, with music serving as an unbreakable bond with their origins.
Relive the atmosphere experienced at the Berlin concert:
The closing of “Los 40 de Desorden” with Deputamadre Club in Europe was a resounding success. The past tour made it clear that live Latin music continues to be an imperative need for the community in Europe.
